Najwat Rehman is usually found in the brightly lit colorful brands room, standing by the glass board, with a marker in his hand, playing with sketches, patterns and words. His quirky humor, approachable demeanor and bonds within the team allow him to understand and connect with what we stand for and translate its essence in his work.
He is the little big guy behind much of the creative core of Carnelian. He describes himself as a design thinker and loves anything and everything to do with design, innovation, technology and branding. Unlike stereotypical tech-creatives though, his ability to communicate and embody his zeal is refreshing and leaves others excited and committed to his vision.
While he has an academic background in marketing, graduating from Institute of Business Administration Karachi, it is his passion for his field that drives him to gain relevant exposure continuously and develop fresh insights. He frequently shares his perspectives in a design magazine he founded by the name of The Desi Design. The magazine has become a platform for individuals to seek expert reviews and engage in stimulating dialogues about brands. Najwat is also a Leadership Fellow at Atlantic Council, a Washington DC based think tank.
He believes that access to technology, knowledge, and communication, combined with brilliant ideas and commitment from the general public, can change Pakistan for the better.
Najwat is an inspiring change-maker who recognized his true calling and harnessed it to produce positive change in the lives of others and created significance from the platform of Carnelian. He enjoys reading and watching horror/thriller/mystery/crime books and movies.
